Help Us Celebrate 122 Years of Refuges!
March 14th, 2025 marks the 122nd year of the National Wildlife Refuge System! We have built a mini-kit to help you mark the occasion with Members of Congress (MOC), their staffers, community members, or anyone else you think should know. This is meant to be a lighthearted and fun way to celebrate all that the Refuge System has to offer.
Included is premade graphic and template text for you to copy and paste into an email – the fastest way to share the love!
We are also including a graphic, “Refuge Strong”, created by the National Wildlife Refuge Association and CORFA. You can use to share on your social media accounts – one option would be to replace your profile picture with it. We want to get the word out that together we are #refugestrong.
But we also encourage you to stop by and celebrate with your local site staff. Take in some cupcakes and let them know that they mean the world to you – we know that they would appreciate the gesture!
