For 50 years, the National Wildlife Refuge Association has been dedicated to protecting, promoting, and enhancing the National Wildlife Refuge System. We are constantly inspired by and always grateful for the passionate people who make conservation happen every day.
That’s why we’re excited to open nominations for the 2025 Wildlife Refuge Awards! Each year, these awards recognize the outstanding individuals and groups who go above and beyond to protect and support national wildlife refuges— whether they are a dedicated refuge manager, a tireless employee, a passionate volunteer, an inspiring Refuge Friends group, or an unwavering advocate.
Nominations are now open, and the deadline to submit your nominations is Monday, March 24, 2025. Award recipients will be announced in June 2025 and celebrated at the 2025 Wildlife Refuge Awards ceremony and celebration.
As we mark the Refuge Association’s 50th anniversary, we invite you to help us recognize the dedicated individuals who help protect the lands, waters, and wildlife we all cherish. Nominate someone deserving today!
