Manage my notifications and emails

Are you receiving too many notifications or too many emails from the platform?

You can easily edit which notifications you would like to receive. First, you should know that our site supports two different types of notifications:

Web notifications can only be received when you are on our website – they display as a popup in the corner of your screen. Email notifications will be sent to the email you provided on signup. Unsubscribing from email notifications increases the risk that you will miss something important.

Managing Group Notifications and Subscriptions

You can manage group notifications in several ways: for individual groups (subscriptions) or for all groups (notifications). Across all groups, you can quickly unsubscribe from the following notifications:

However, this might mean you miss notifications from groups you care about. If you prefer to only silence certain groups, the group subscription feature allows you to unsubscribe (silence emails) from certain groups while continuing to receive emails from other groups. By default, you are subscribed to all groups that you join. You can go here to unsubscribe from a group (by clicking the X button next to the group’s name), or you can visit any group page and hit the bell icon to unsubscribe/resubscribe:

How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Even if you turn off all email notifications from our platform, you might still receive marketing emails. These run through a separate system than platform notifications. To unsubscribe from such emails, scroll to the bottom of any marketing email and click one of the following links:
