Join CORFA’s next Friends SHARE Zoom call on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, a 4:00 pm ET to exchange ideas on how Friends groups handle seasonal support staff.
If you have or had an seasonal support staff program, what do you want to share with others? If you’re exploring the possibility of starting a program, what questions do you have? What has your Friends group role been in your site’s seasonal support program? From what we know so far, there is some variety in the relationships between Friends Groups, refuges, and seasonal support staff.
How is your group involved in recruiting, paying for support staff positions, any supervision, recruitment, working side-by-side, etc.
If you have a critical issue, specific question, or topic where you are seeking expertise, please let us know as soon as possible so we can prepare and look for helpful resources.
