SUMMARY:Misinformation and Disinformation Training
DESCRIPTION:You’ve noticed the sharp rise in misinformation and disinformation\, from social media to social circles (and further amplified by AI!) especially in the lead-up to the midterm elections. Conservation leaders need a clear\, evidence-based playbook for responding\, and knowing when not to respond. \nAmy F. and Amanda K. of Conservation Capacity Project partner Resource Media will share the latest insights from social science and walk participants through a simple decision-making flowchart to choose the right strategy in the moment—whether sticking to your message\, debunking\, or pre-bunking—or a mix of all three. Participants will leave with actionable guidance that can be put to work immediately. \nThis webinar will be recorded and shared with all who register. \nRegister: Misinformation and Disinformation Training
