DESCRIPTION:Join us to hear about these elegant\, uniquely Alaskan birds as Robyn Thomas\, wildlife biologist\, shares with us what she discovered about Emperors on their winter range. Unlike other geese species nesting in Alaska\, these birds also winter in Alaska and are found only in the Bering Sea region. Her hope is that winter research would shed more light on the wild population fluctuations this species has endured. Winter research on Alaska’s Coast is tough.
